Description

Course Duration:

1 Day (6-8 Hours) or 2 Half-Day Sessions

Employees, Supervisors, Managers, and anyone involved in workplace improvement


Course Objectives:

By the end of the course, participants will:

Module 2: The 5S Methodology in Detail

  1. Sort (Seiri) – Eliminating unnecessary items
    • Red-tagging method
    • Identifying and removing waste
  2. Set in Order (Seiton) – Organizing tools & materials for easy access
    • Layout optimization & visual management
    • Shadow boards, labeling, and signage
  3. Shine (Seiso) – Cleaning and inspection
    • Preventative maintenance
    • Assigning cleaning responsibilities
  4. Standardize (Seiketsu) – Creating sustainable routines
    • Checklists and visual controls
    • Documenting best practices
  5. Sustain (Shitsuke) – Maintaining discipline and continuous improvement
